Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of MultiPub Pro (the "Service", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must have legal authority to bind yourself (or the entity on whose behalf you sign up) to these Terms.
- You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, including by team members or anyone you give access to.
Notify us immediately at support@multipub.pro if you suspect your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate or distribute illegal content (CSAM, terrorism propaganda, content that violates local laws).
- Generate content that infringes third-party intellectual property, including direct copying or knock-offs of copyrighted works.
- Generate content intended to defame, harass, or impersonate identifiable individuals.
- Generate medical, legal, or financial advice claiming to come from a licensed professional.
- Spam, phish, or distribute malware via WordPress sites connected to the Service.
- Resell or sub-license the Service to third parties without our written agreement.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or credit accounting.
- Use the Service to violate the terms of any AI provider whose API we route requests through.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity. We may report illegal activity to authorities.
4. Content ownership
4.1 Your input
You retain all rights to the keywords, prompts, instructions, brand materials, and any other input you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate the Service (e.g. send it to AI providers on your behalf, store generated outputs in your account, publish to your WordPress sites).
4.2 AI-generated output
Subject to AI providers' terms (which generally grant ownership of outputs to the end user), you own the articles, images, and other content the Service generates for you. We claim no ownership and impose no usage restrictions beyond what AI providers themselves require.
AI output is not guaranteed to be original, factual, or fit for any specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing it before publishing and for ensuring compliance with copyright, defamation, and disclosure laws in your jurisdiction. AI may produce inaccuracies — verify critical facts independently.
4.3 Our software
The MultiPub Pro application, website, design system, WordPress plugin, documentation, and related materials are our proprietary property. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them for the duration of your subscription. The license terminates when your subscription ends.
5. Plans, credits & billing
5.1 Plans
Plans and credit allowances are described on the Pricing page. We may change prices and features for new subscribers; existing subscribers receive at least 30 days' notice before any change applies to their account.
5.2 Credits
Each plan grants a monthly allowance of credits. One credit approximately equals one article up to 4,000 words generated with the default model and a basic image. More expensive models, longer articles, and premium image models consume more credits. The exact cost is shown before you confirm a generation.
- Credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over.
- BYO (bring-your-own) API keys bypass our credit accounting — your generation cost is paid directly to the AI provider.
- We may grant bonus credits as part of promotions or compensation for incidents. Bonus credits also reset on plan change unless explicitly stated.
5.3 Payments
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle handles taxes, currency conversion, and chargebacks. Your payment relationship is with Paddle subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
5.4 Refunds
Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. Briefly: 14-day refund window on first subscription if you have used no more than 20% of your monthly credit allowance (prorated partial refund otherwise), prorated refunds on annual plans for unused months minus a 20% restocking fee, no refund for credits already consumed. The Free plan is the recommended way to evaluate the Service before paying.
5.5 Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries automatically over 3–7 days. We will notify you by email. If payment ultimately fails, the account moves to past_due status; generation is paused but data is preserved. After 14 days of unresolved past-due status, the subscription is cancelled.
6. Bring-your-own AI keys
On Pro and Pro Max plans you may connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, or Runware API keys ("BYO keys"). When BYO is active for a vendor, the Service routes requests through your key — you pay the vendor directly at their published rates, and these requests do not consume your monthly credit allowance.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your keys' billing in good standing with the vendor.
- Complying with the vendor's terms of service.
- Any costs incurred by usage on your key, including unexpected costs from generation parameters you choose.
We store BYO keys encrypted at rest and never share them. You can disconnect or pause any BYO key from Settings → AI Keys.
7. WordPress plugin
The Service requires installing our open-source WordPress plugin on each connected site. The plugin is licensed under GPLv2 and communicates with our backend via HTTPS with HMAC-signed tokens.
You retain full control of your WordPress sites; you may uninstall the plugin at any time. The plugin does not modify site content beyond the articles you explicitly request to be published, and does not transmit visitor data to us.
8. Service availability
We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime, but the Service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees beyond what is offered as part of any specific Service Level Agreement (none are included by default). Planned maintenance is announced at least 24 hours in advance where possible.
AI providers may experience outages outside our control. When this happens, we gracefully degrade and notify you in-product. You are not refunded for outages of a single AI provider when alternatives remain available.
9. Termination
9.1 By you
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You may also permanently delete your account from Settings — deletion requires email confirmation and removes all account data immediately, except billing records retained for tax purposes (see Privacy Policy).
9.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud or chargebacks, or fail to pay. We will refund any prepaid amounts for unused service unless termination was for cause (e.g. abuse, fraud).
10. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION).
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Service, (c) the content you generate or publish, or (d) your violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes are announced by email at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country where our legal entity is registered. Disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
EU consumers retain the right to bring claims in their country of residence under local consumer protection law.
